Haven't written a journal for a while, so I thought I'd fix that.
Thinking about it, I've only written 2, but that's ok

I've just finished watching the BBC production of King Lear and it was fantastic! I always hear people complaining about Shakespeare and the difficulty of his language, but I find his work quite interesting and clever, and just so intriguing and able to draw me in.
So watching Lear has been great!
I though the peformances were amazing by the actors, especially King Lear and Edgar, Gloucester's legitimate son.
They were consistant and enthralling - not to say that the other actors were not good, as they were all amazing, but I found that there was a special quality to, or even another dimension to, those two characters, as played by Michael Hordern and Anton Lesser, respectively.
I just found my need to continue watching the play amusing, though it shows me how I've come to appreciate Shakespeare and understand it at a greater level. Sounds familiar, no?
Well, my rantings of Lear are all well and done, and I will go and marvel at it more now, but this ramble has come to an end, and as such, goodnight!
